What’s the first thing you plan on doing once the shelter-in-place is lifted? I’m looking forward to taking my daughter out-of-town and going on a vacation somewhere warm.

Aside from picking up delivery routes, what are you doing to pass the time during the shelter-in-place order? I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning around the house like yard work and reorganizing the garage.

Most people are binge-watching tv shows during this time. Are you guilty of it? If so, which show? No, I haven’t been watching much TV. I have been on my phone a lot more than I usually do – surfing the web and scrolling through more social media apps like Instagram.

Who is your favorite coworker and why? My favorite coworker would have to be our delivery driver, Joe. We think alike and have a lot of similar interests.

Who is your favorite customer and why? Willie from Alameda County at their 399 Elmhurst location. That’s my guy! He is very chill, super friendly, and always gives me love whenever I’m there to drop off a delivery. He made a great first impression on my first day working at Blaisdell’s and I’ll never forget it.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be? I would like to become a drag race NHRA driver! I grew up around drag racing and love cars and going fast on a track.

Do you plan on celebrating Cinco de Mayo during the shelter in place order? If so, how? Yes, of course. This is one of the few years Cinco de Mayo falls on Taco Tuesday. I plan on going home after work to make tacos, kick back, and relax the rest of the afternoon.

Memorial Day is coming up! Do you have any plans on your day off? I had plans of doing a big BBQ with my family and still plan on doing something similar but less scaled. It’s an annual tradition at a park at Alan Witt in Antioch.

How do you like your coffee? I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do like to have a cup of hot peppermint tea in the morning.

What’s your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby would be dirt biking. I like to take my bike and travel to different areas, particularly Pismo Beach. I look forward to doing that again soon once the shelter-in-place orders are lifted.

What is one thing about you that many people do not know? I’m a delivery driver by day and a comedian by night.

If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why? Ants Dope Dream because I’ve overcome a lot of obstacles in my life, never gave up, and made the best out of every situation. I feel like many other people have had similar encounters but let those scenarios hold them back. It would be a dope dream because it would inspire others to face their fears and conquer those barriers.

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose? My boss, Michael Witt, because I’ve always wanted to drive a Porsche! In all seriousness, he’s just a great guy, has a good mouthpiece… what I mean by that is he’s a smooth talker. I’ve always liked the idea of running a company one day so it would be nice to test it out and fill his shoes for a day.

If you were an office supply, which one would you be? I would be a desk caddy because it just sits stationary and chills. It holds everything and is the go-to source when someone needs something.
