What’s your go-to productivity trick? Collaborating with my co-workers. It keeps me aware and motivated to be a better account executive for my customers. A good example is recently myself and our ergonomist, Adrienne, came up with an idea for an ergonomics flyer to help spread the word about our service offerings and ways to improve workplace wellness. I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

How do you like your coffee? I like to stick to black coffee – been drinking Philz Jacob’s Wonderbar recently.

What do you enjoy most about your job? It’s the customers. Not to dismiss office supplies, but they’re a commodity and it’s the people and variety of personalities I enjoy. These visits are usually productive, especially when we can leave behind some chocolate.

What is your favorite product category to sell to customers and why? Really, anything that gives me an excuse to visit and interact with people – like a demo chair, a sample product, calendar flyers, etc. We need to get back to interacting like we did pre-pandemic.

If you could be an office supply item, which one would you be and why? I would be a binder clip. They’re rather unassuming, inexpensive, but useful for a variety of objectives. A great example is my work bag. Two binder clips are currently holding it together.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day? Watching people travel and eat on YouTube.

Do you have a secret talent or favorite weekend hobby you can share? Absolutely! I’ve recently discovered a new skill for stuffing backpacks. It’s currently offseason but a great way to train is going around and picking up different sized objects from the street and stuffing them into a backpack.

What’s your favorite holiday and why? I take it one holiday at a time. Labor Day was nice, I needed some time off. Now we’re onto Indigenous Peoples’ Day!
