Our customer service team is the heart and soul of our company. They are the captains of care. We like to think of them as human dictionaries because they know our products, services, and customers in such detail that they can even remember all of their last names. Some of our customer service rep tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Serve customers by providing product and service info by phone, live chat, or email
  • Resolve product and service problems while issuing return tickets
  • Complete order entry daily for any faxed, called in, or emailed to our support team
  • Research products and alternative selections for out-of-stock items
  • Process account setups and maintenance existing accounts
  • Maintain a friendly, energetic attitude with all customer communication

Our sales team is what drives the success and growth of our company. They are highly motivated and customer-focused individuals who are always looking for the opportunity to build more personalized relationships with our business partners. Some of our sales tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for retaining and growing revenue within an assigned territory
  • Solicit new business through cold-calling and prompt follow up on referrals
  • Onboard new customers and effectively introduce them to all of Blaisdell’s products and services
  • Meet or exceeds monthly sales goals assigned by upper management
  • Work closely with all departments to facilitate complete and effective communication with retention
  • Continuously have an in-person presence and represent the best interests of Blaisdell’s

Our furniture design team is one of the best in the industry, juggling hundreds of projects for both existing and new business customers across the Bay Area. They’re fast, efficient, and very personable. Some of our furniture designer tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Work both independently and collaboratively to develop creative interior space solutions
  • Ability to handle project management from consultation to overseeing installation by our team
  • Prepare layouts and renderings of small and large-scale projects using furniture design software
  • Handle high-pressure environments and tight deadlines with ease
  • Build great business relationships with customers as well as our vendors
  • Develop quote requests and process invoices for each project independently

Our delivery drivers are the face of our company. They interact with our business customers on a daily basis as they deliver their orders, pickup returns, and handle their in-person concerns. The tone, service level, and five-star service we strive to deliver starts and ends with them. Some of our delivery driver tasks and responsibilities include

  • Start workday at 6am sharp to select and methodically load all product into assigned truck
  • Handle loads of up to 80lbs. and maneuver up to 300lbs. with a mechanical device
  • Drive a delivery truck over an established route
  • Manage manifest and collect delivery signatures
  • Wear the uniform provided and display a clean and neat appearance
  • Always smile and communicate in a manner which displays concern for customer care
  • Knowledge of road safety and follow city ordinances and traffic laws

The accounting department is responsible for recording and reporting the cash flow transactions of our company. They also play an integral part in the reflected service level we try to achieve. This requires patience and communication in a manner that displays concern for customer care. Some of our accountant tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Document incoming and outgoing financial transactions by entering account information
  • Handle customer-specific requests related to accounting by phone and email
  • Collect on past due accounts
  • Post payments to accounts and run billing of invoices and statements on a regular basis
  • Set up customers with billing options and provide business documentation
  • Answer calls and process payments by phone
